Yo if anyone is down to slap some slim jims on the table, I’d be down for some texas. It doesn’t matter that I don’t know the rules because I have luck on my side.

  11. Michael-Rocha says:

In serious terms, this website is showing the probability of the different combinations of hands in a game of poker. The game has luck integrated as every dealing will give you different cards that can or cannot be good for you.

  12. Dynasty McCain says:

Its confusing but I have the hang of it. I’ve never played poker thought so that definitely didn’t help. I never realized probability is included in poker.

    • Hey Dynasty,
Probability is included in just about every card game. That’s what makes them so interesting—every deal is the random outcome of probability! A good card player has to learn what the best play is, based on what is likely to happen next. They also have to learn how to take advantage situations when probability is in their favor, and how to manage situations when it isn’t. This is true of all sorts of card games, not just poker.

My thoughts on this site is that I never would’ve thought it could be this many different ways of poker hands. There’s so many ways or possibilities to probabilities in poker and all this money people bet and play for a game that require some skill and a lot of luck.

    • Hey Malik,
Poker is actually very much a game of skill—the skill comes from knowing probability well, and knowing not to spend money on a hand that probability says isn’t worth paying for!

My thought is about how this would make studying the probabilities of Poker essentially a way to become better at the game. If studied intensely enough it could make a player win way easier in theory.
